Blog 3 - Masterplan Impact

For the impacts of ICT learning that i have personally felt and experienced during my time at Saint Hilda's Secondary School, i have felt that students have a renewed sense of interest and inclination to their familiar tool, which is the computer and this medium of education, if managed well, would really assist in the teacher's delivery of topical discussions and syllabus adherence, as well as tap into the various online and graphical resources available which might further induce interest into the students during lesson time.

As a beginning teacher, i feel that the presence of ICT truly allows the teacher to garner another formidable teaching tool, and i am only concerned about the amount of time actually put into this ICT learning component to prepare the teachers who are about to go out to the education sector to work, as they would have to juggle both curriculum expectations as well as fulfill the needs of preparing for ICT development.
Should this challenge be managed well, the easing of access of ICT resources and learning materials will transcend successfully to the students and they would receive and benefit from the arrangements for them.
